Is there an audio player option in the Newspaper theme?

Read old threads back to 2015 about the future plans for an audio player with Newspaper theme… is it available yet? If yes, how is it setup?

Sooo, is that a “no” for an official audio player for the Newspaper theme?

I guess so. Since it’s now built-in to WordPress core and simple to use. No need for external plugin, HTML5 player, jQuery, etc.

Did you try that yet ?

Cool beans. Making sure I didn’t miss something specific TD was doing for their theme.

The core audio features are simple enough.
