Newspaper theme contains at least 250 internal links even if you reduce as much as you can. 100 links is adviced for google seo optimization. Any experiences about that. After migrating from joomla to wordpress+newspaper i lost ranks in google. Any idea? I dont want to change homepage navigation menu because it looks awesome.

Hi,
That could be the case for many other themes as well, as it is not a strict requirement or definitive. There are optimizations possible using SEO plugins, like the Yoast SEO plugin.
