Issue Adding Facebook I.D to social media widget

Hiya,

Having some issues getting the Widget for social media to work properly on my site, as I’ve tried multiple way of adding the Facebook ‘I.D’ in, but it doesn’t seem to display the (small) number of people who follow/like the page – so I was hoping you could help.

Here’s the facebook page I’m trying to use:

https://www.facebook.com/CatholicEducationMelbourne/

I’ve tried using: CatholicEducationMelbourne/100572596719255/The full URL, but nothing seems to be working.

Any suggestions?

Hello Jordan,

I have tested your Facebook ID on my side and everything seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xwKjzTgY0wUa Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results.

Hi Catalin,

I’ve definitely got the up to date version, with all remaining plugins being used (and up to date), and the cache is clear; but I’m still not getting the same result as you.

I’m not too sure what you mean by making sure the theme is up to date via FTP, as I don’t have it hosted locally, it’s hosted via WordPress, and I’m not sure how to do this.

Any additional ideas?

Did you have read our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/ If not, please read it with more attention and followed all the steps from here in order to achieve good results.
