When I’m going to replace default images inside “Themes” page, images is stretched differently from the original one, even if I use the same image in the gallery.
Please take a look of this photos, before and after importing image.

I know what you are referring to now. The image is smaller because you are uploading the medium size of the image – https://www.screencast.com/t/4rvbLgOJOL
Select the full size and it will be bigger.
