In Google’s Chrome browser, in the Console, I see quite a few violations like the one listed below:
Added non-passive event listener to a scroll-blocking 'touchstart' event. Consider marking event handler as 'passive' to make the page more responsive. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5745543795965952
Example page: https://www.wheredoitakethekids.com/places/rob-skate-academy/
Would it be possible to get this issue corrected for the next release of the theme?
Hi,
All I see in console are 2 errors and some warnings -> https://i.imgur.com/QEhvLk7.png I can not fin the “violation” that you provide above.
If this is still there, please provide me a screenshot with it.
Thank you!
How can I send you a screenshot?
I see something like the issue I reported above on the following page: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/wordpress-news-magazine-charts-the-most-chic-and-fashionable-women-of-new-york-city/
That demo page has (non-passive event listener to a scroll-blocking … event) violations.
Hi,
Maybe you are referring to this -> https://i.imgur.com/n2g017m.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Zw8UbeQ.png these are coming from the plugin that is use on our demo to optimize the website, are not from theme.
Also this should not affect the theme or other plugin.
I made a note to our developers to check this and see if there is a solution for it.
Thank you!
I am still having this issue.
Here’s a screenshot.

Hi, please check the answer from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/violations-forced-reflow/#post-389110
Thank you!
I’m still seeing this issue. This can be seen on the following page:
https://www.wheredoitakethekids.com/places/alameda-skatepark/
I have 55 of these errors on the above page.
Hello,
It seems that this error is the cause that the fonts are no longer in that place => https://i.imgur.com/Xz0FDqL.png also, the error toolset comes from a plugin that are you using, most probably this is a conflict with your cache plugin, here is a topic with a similar case like your https://toolset.com/forums/topic/uncaught-referenceerror-toolsetcommones-is-not-defined/
Thank you!
On that screenshot, I don’t see any of the (Non-passive event listener) errors.
Here are the steps:
1)Navigate out to the following page: https://www.wheredoitakethekids.com/places/surfing-at-alaia-bay/
2) Inspect the page. Or open the developer tools. I’m working with Chrome.
3) View the console.
4) Clear the console.
5) Reload the page
At this point, you should see the complete list of errors happening on the page.
Hello,
I did as you said but for me, those errors do not occur https://www.screencast.com/t/kT04OUVs
Please make a video or send screenshots when the errors occur.
Thank you!
