Jumping ads on mobile devices

Hi there! Thanks for your great wordpress theme.

I am using Newspaper together with the AdRotate Plugin and have an issue with the mobile version of the page. https://www.kaiserwinkl-aktuell.at/ It’s all about the header ad (group). Desktop is fine, but when you have a look at this page on a mobile device, the header ads are jumping when it is rotating every 4 seconds.

I spoke about this issue with the plugin guys. They said:

That’s likely due to the size setting of 728×90. But a quick peek at the code also suggests your theme does all kinds of responsive things to the header. So there may be a relation there also. It only happens for the smallest variant at 468x60px as far as I can see.

Can you help me with this? Do you have an idea how I can solve this?

Hi,

Unfortunately, the AdRotate plugin has not been tested with our theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins.

I also had this issue with AdRotate and what seemed to fix the issue for me was specifying the height and width of each advert within the code.

Sorry just saw this question. When you create an advert using adrotate, you want to specify the width and height, just after where the image source appears for the ad code. There are two short cut links to insert this into the code (see arrows). See screenshot https://snag.gy/rw0G3m.jpg
