I just updated my website newscitrus.net because it seemed a bit buggy while I was deleting categories and adding to menues. I followed the instructions. I got an error installing the social counter plugin and the one after that. I removed the earlier theme before activating the new one. I really thought this theme weren’t prone to these update errors.

Hello!

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Thank you !

Just completed our Second attempt at updating to latest Theme Version received yesterday. Both times the end result was a disaster, requiring a roll-back to the last version. Not only did we deactivate all Plugins per your advice above and flushed all caches, etc. but we followed your advice here: “The best way to update the Newspaper Theme is to delete the current Newspaper Theme version and TagDiv Plugins and after that, you can install the new version. All the information (layouts, posts, etc) are set up in your database.

– Headers and Footers distorted
– Pages & Single Posts distorted,
– Etc. Etc.

This is the second time we’ve experienced this following a Theme update, forcing us to wait until another Theme update “fix” is released, as we’re confident that the problem is no on our end.

How should we proceed?

Hello !

Please make sure you have activated all the tagdiv required plugins and Standard Pack.
