last modified date

Hello;

I am unable to configure the last modified date within the theme panel, please i need a guide on how to do this without editing template file.

I want the last modified date on single post, so it can show on SEARCH ENGINE

Hi,

Please check the settings from theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/H7CFzAKVw7 set the option with tagDiv Composer-> https://www.screencast.com/t/OAoAK9oUu make update on post -> https://www.screencast.com/t/vcQoLkQByxc now check the date of that post -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sKbLrp1jz also you can can sort after modified date -> https://www.screencast.com/t/VSePr63B

Also the modified date on post can be set with tagDiv Composer on single post template

Hi, I just found this via search and tried to apply it. I don’t see ‘show modified’ option in my theme panel.

My theme panel options for Meta Info on Modules/ Blocks:

Any suggestion? I am running the latest version of the theme.

Hi,

The Modified Date Option on blocks and modules was add since Newspaper v9.6, I think that you have an older version of theme, that is way you do not have this option in theme panel.

I want modified date for blog posts/articles and not modules and blocks.

Modules and blocks don’t get indexed on Google or show up in search results

The modified date on posts can be set using tagDiv Composer on single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library.

The modified date should only appear after second edit of an article? when I publish a fresh article immediately “modified date” is printed before the date! That’s not correct!

Hi @WilRC,

Unfortunately in this way was made the modified date by our developer team, what I can do is to make a request for some changes in modified date function to show only on edited posts.
