last post of selected categories in a block 1

Hi,

I would liked to show in the home page the latest post of 5 different categories in a block type 1, is it possible to do that ?
There is a latest order but this is for all categories selected.

Hello,
You can use the multiple category filter to achieve this. You will need the category id’s you can see here: http://screencast.com/t/pj4lwmr5CKqE and then you simply add your 5 category id’s in the block settings: http://screencast.com/t/qAbsmSlJ

Hi Bogdan,

I did this but it shows the last 5 posts of these selected categories, what I need is showing the last story of each category selected (5)

Hi,
Unfortunately there is no such option. This means you will need just the latest post from 5 different categories. Unfortunately you cannot do that inside a single block element. The ‘latest’ sorting option will show the latest of all of the categories. You can only sort a block. Not every module inside of it. Sorry.
