Latest Newspaper Release

Hello,

I got a notification that a new version of the Newspaper theme has been released. What is the procedure to upgrade from my existing version (9.0). I believe the latest version is 9.6. Are there any guides etc available? I have made extensive customisation to my home page, single post pages and category pages. Will they be retained?

Hi,

First please make sure that you make a full backup to your website.

Please follow our documentation for How to Update the Newspaper Theme for WordPress -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/

After theme update please check the theme plugins to be updated and activate in specially tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library if you are using elements from cloud -> https://www.screencast.com/t/aNq9x55w

If the customization that you made was not in theme files ( you made theme in them panel or with tagDiv Composer ), then those will remain, if those are made in theme files will be override.
