Hi,
When I try to install the latest updated version of Newspaper Theme I get an error as follows:
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
Destination folder already exists. /home1/longtak0/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/
Theme installation failed.
What should I do to resolve this?
And why, given this is a version upgrade, is the existence of a destination folder a problem?

We are sorry for your inconvenience !
It is mandatory to delete all what was left from the older version before intalling this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems and maybe you’ve missed something while deleting the old files. Please check the plugins to be deleted too ?

Thanks, I’ll read the links you sent and cross my fingers that it works.
My only comment is that, given it’s the 21st century, wouldn’t it be great to abstract all of this away from the end user, and have the program do the deleting/replacing? Seriously.

Unfortunately for the moment this is the way how the theme update is working with our theme , maybe in the future there will be add this “option/way” to make the update.
