It seems that the latest Newspaper update (12.6.2) has really messed up my site. The homepage navigation menu is suddenly a huge blue square 15 cm high on my laptop filled with code. I updated several plug-ins today including some Newspaper sub-themes that are not activated for my site.
How can I revert to a previous version of Newspaper and get my old website back?

Just FYI, I did try to use the Newspaper Time Machine and revert back to 12.6.1 but it didn’t change anything. The navigation menu is still showing all of its style code.

A code in your frontend is appearing only when you have a plugin uninstalled when it should be installed, so instead of the code, it will display the element from that plugin. Check in Newspaper -> Plugins (the Standard Pack plugin).

OK I understand now. The Opt-in Builder was not installed for some reason. I got a developer to fix it. An easy fix if you know what to look for.
