Latin-ext characters not working on Firefox

Hey all,

We’re having big trouble with latin-ext characters on Firefox. All fonts look amazing, appart from when you visit the site from Firefox. All of a sudden, the latin-ext characters of any available font get displayed by the default font. The rest of the characters are displayed as they should be. I’ve tried Ubuntu, Open Sans, Roboto and other fonts.

Have a look here: androidportal.sk

Any help would be highly appreciated! 🙂

Hi,

I have checked your site on Mozilla and seems that Roboto it doesn’t loads. Please disable all plugins, leave only Visual Composer active and check your page source on Mozilla and see if the font Roboto is loading.

Also you have some fonts errors in chrome: http://screencast.com/t/SX9aFAfQ

Thanks!

Hi Alin,

Our server admin checked it and the problem stems from the request itself:

http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto+Condensed:400italic,700italic,700,400|Open+Sans:400italic,600italic,700italic,400,700,600&subset=latin,latin-ext?ver=1.4

There is ?ver=1.4 at the end. If you delete it, it starts to work. When you leave it added, Google responds with 400 bad request.

Hi,

It shouldn’t behave like that, please check if you have access to the error log (via ftp or c-panel), if you do send a copy of it via email at contact@tagdiv.com

Thank you, Emil G.
