Hi there,
We’ve been using the font “Ubuntu” for a good while with great support for latin-ext characters. However, I have stumbled upon a problem, where Newsmag won’t be able to show these characters, but only in Firefox. I have enabled the support for latin-ext in theme panel and I have also added this: &subset=latin,latin-ext to my functions.php with no effect.
The characters work great in Chrome.

The URL is http://www.androidportal.sk and the issue still persists. I had to turn off the Ubuntu font because our readers started complaining, however we’d still like to use it.
I have tried turning all plugins off, however that didn’t change anything.

Thank you in advance for your kind help. I have turned on the Ubuntu font for Style 6, as it combines 2 problems.
1st problem – The Ubuntu font not displaying characters such as ščťž, etc. These characters are covered by latin-ext and are used in czech and slovak languages.
2nd problem – the black semi transparent background – http://puu.sh/eexL1/16e494294b.jpg – it starts roughly in the middle of the image. When I looked at your demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/td-post-kendall-jenner-strips-for-love-magazine – I didn’t see it there and quite frankly, it looks better without it.

1. I have also tested this using your posts content and found the same issue on my local machine and just on firefox.
Noticed that the fonts couldn’t be loaded and this “Cross-Origin Request Blocked” error came up in the browser console: http://screencast.com/t/kq9Tjdy0T

Also noticed that you’ve changed the “ubuntu” font as it’s not loaded: http://screencast.com/t/H7eGKfRFSChk so I’m not sure if this also happens in your case but you could give this a try and let me know.

I tested the htaccess method, however that did not change anything. As I mentioned above, we used the Ubuntu font for titles on our last theme (Valenti from Cubell) with no problems. We are using Source Sans pro for content font, Ubuntu seems the ideal choice for title font.

I have tested this again and some how I haven’t any issue when using the “Ubuntu” font chosen from theme panel, the characters you’ve mentioned look fine on Firefox also as you can notice from this screen: http://screencast.com/t/HOXsF1bnK

I only want Ubuntu for titles. We will stil with Open Sans for post content. I will update the theme to 1.4 and then I’ll try it again.
