Hello,
I’m using Newspaper 6.2 now. I changed my layout to M14 since a couple days. But some of the featured images doesn’t look nice. Its way to big for the space. Most of the images are cropped well.

Please try to regenerate your thumbnails – https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/
If your featured image is smaller, please note that WordPress doesn’t enlarge images and you will need to use plugin like Thumbnail Upscale to enlarge thumbnails: https://wordpress.org/plugins/thumbnail-upscale/ For upscale use a combination of plugins Thumbnail Upscale + Force Regenerate.
