Lazy Loading Plugins are not working

Hi,

I know this theme does have a lazy loading function itself, but I’m not satisfied with it. I tried some plugins for this, but ALL of them do not work with thumbnails. Only the full size images in my posts are “lazy loaded”. I figured that it has to do something with the theme.

Could you check please, why the plugins are not working with the thumbnails in the great Newsmag theme?

The theme has his own implementation regarding the lazy load feature. Testing these plugins with the theme requires lot of time and resources, because you have to combine their functionality with the one present in the theme. This can be a very difficult process, depending by the way plugin has been written.
My advice is to look for a developer to help you with the new implementation of lazy load feature, as require good coding skills and it’s not an easy task.

likely you would remove the functions from the theme, per the forum posts on topic; then try each of the plugins to see which works best for your setup.
