I am trying to have some letter spacing for my menu names/main navigation. How do I do this and where would I place the code?

You can find this setting in the cloud header template: https://www.screencast.com/t/9km1rBNfeu
Unfortunately, for a default template, you need a custom CSS code which you can insert in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Custom code -> Custom CSS.
