We have been suddenly locked-out of our blog due to an unacceptable issue of your template “newspaper” obviously.
This blog is a famous Political and Financial related website and the damage now is cbecause we look like scammers, or idiots being hacked / defaced. ESPECIALLY me who I am administering this website I look now like someone who knows nothing. Imagine the impact to our customers and business. Template was purchased on 2016 and support is “expired”, is this something “in purpose” to make all of us renew (PAY) the renewal fee?

I can not even login to the “wp-admin” panel in order to disable your template or apply your “Solution”.

The Newspaper theme verifies your license key with the Envato API. If you already have a license activated on your website yet the website displays the notice LICENSE KEY IS NOT REGISTERED please follow the steps below:
1. First please make sure the theme is activated with the license key from your Envato Themeforest account https://tagdiv.com/how-to-activate-the-newspaper-theme/
2. If the theme was activated, please reset the theme activation from the Theme Panel – > System Status https://i.imgur.com/7Ktmd1e.png and clear the cache.
3. If there is a problem or the issue remains, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will provide a solution.
The “LICENSE KEY IS NOT REGISTERED” notice on your website is due to a possible communication error with Envato API. We are sorry if this caused you any inconvenience and we are doing the best in our power to overcome this issue.

The second option works perfectly. If you don’t know how to log in without admin button link from your website then type your website URL and then /admin. Example: alexandros.com/admin and then log in.
But this incident shows AGAIN that users/developers should not use Envato platform! Stay away as much as possible from Envato.
Well that was a fun morning today, lots of customers complaining, thanks for that.
Mistakes happen, but you should rethink the licensing system, unfortunately this is not the first mistake of Envato and if you earn money with your website this is extremely harmful. Apart from the SEO problems.

I Regained access to my website since your support guy replace the messed-up template with the older version of “11.1”. Now there are many other issue which I have to resolve.
