I had the Theme installed on four websites for last many years. I am now getting message that I can install only on two websites. Is there a change of policy.
1. What happens now to my other sites. Besides the two. Will the theme be de-activated there.
2. Is there a Free version of Newspaper Theme that I continue to use.

1. A license key is normally valid for one website. Please check the ThemeForest license details here: https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard ->

We allow one key to be used on two websites at the same time (live + testing). If the key is used on more than two domains, additional license keys are required and we cannot make exceptions.
You will need an additional license key for the other two domains to update the theme, access the cloud, and use the tagDiv Composer.
2. There is no free Newspaper theme version, and there has never been one.

In earlier versions, this was possible due to limitations in the license verification system. However, a few years ago, Envato raised concerns and made it clear that the theme risked removal from ThemeForest if the issue was not addressed. Following this, the development team implemented a fix and introduced a dedicated section within the theme that allows visibility into where the license is currently active.
