when I add a text into the category description the theme does not read any breakline, and all the phrases are in the same paragraph.

The category description will not recognize spacing by default. You can use seo yoast however which will provide a tiny mce editor for the category description.

Thanks. I already use SEO Yoast, and I already have a Tiny mce editor fot Tag and category. However it seems to me that not all the formatting rules are available.
Could it be a CSS class problem?

Please use seo yoast and manually add the p tags in text mode as there seems to be an issue with the paragraphs in the category filed. Edit the category description in the mce editor in text mode and manually add opening and closing html p tags around your paragraphs.
