It seems to be a jQuery problem, normal this problem can be from a plugin conflict or when you use the latest WordPress version 5.6 and you do not have the last theme version, Newsmag 4.9.6 what you can do is to make a full backup and update the theme.
If the problem is still not solved and you checked the plugin conflict (make a test only with theme plugins enabled), the please use this plugin Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin and try this option – https://www.screencast.com/t/WYlKJVLi Clear all the caches (also the browser cache).

Thanks for the answer!! Theme is updated to 4.9.6, plugins are off and i have try the jquery migrate but still the link to the ticker doesnt work as you can check at ahoraroma.com
