Link options ( gear icon ) button not working and freezing the page

Hello,

I’m having weird problems with WP classic editors when trying using “Insert/edit link” – “Link options”. After clicking “Link options” the feature does not work, I’m unable to scroll the page, the text I choose automatically gets hyperlinked somehow.

Chrome developer console seems to show:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘show’ of undefined
at Object.open (wplink.min.js?ver=5.5.3:2)
at i.onclick (wp-tinymce.js?ver=49100-20200624:45)
at mp.c.fire (wp-tinymce.js?ver=49100-20200624:3)
at i.fire (wp-tinymce.js?ver=49100-20200624:5)
at HTMLDivElement.o (wp-tinymce.js?ver=49100-20200624:5)
at C (wp-tinymce.js?ver=49100-20200624:3)
at HTMLDivElement.d (wp-tinymce.js?ver=49100-20200624:3)

Using the latest WP version.

Hello. Thread closed. The issue was caused by Amazon Associates plugin. Now deactivated, everything works.
