Hello guys,
my linkedin button on article pages doesn’t work.
For e.g. I link you one of my article to show the problem:
http://www.militarypedia.it/av-8b-harrier-ii-plus/
scroll to Author section and click on linkedin button. It brings to this site:
http://www.militarypedia.it/av-8b-harrier-ii-plus/it.linkedin.com/in/davideantoniomautone
Instead if you look the footer and click to linkedin button it works.
What’s the problem?
Hello Kowak,
In order to add new social sharing buttons in the top or bottom sharing on posts, you will have to edit the theme code a bit. The theme has no settings to add any extra button so it will have to be added through the code. Here are a few examples:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/add-linkedin-sharing-button/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-add-a-vk-sharing-button-on-your-posts/
Thank you!
I checked again my linkedin account and it is with “https://..” and the rest. Each time I click on author post button I get this:
http://www.militarypedia.it/—-article name—–/it.linkedin.com/in/mynameonlinkedin
It’s too strange. On the footer it redirects correctly.
Our theme is fully compatible with both http and https. Please use these few resources for a few hints on how to properly set up https:
