live search need admin access

Unfortunately, I am not aware of what type of plugin or method in .htacces you are using to protect your wp-admin. As you can see, our theme does not have any tested plugins in this regard and we cannot say for sure which of these will work as properly with our theme. You should try to find another online solution in this regard or if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

If you want to remove the search icon entirely you can simply hide it with this css:
.td-icon-search{
display:none!important
}
