I am using the live search module in my sites header, but it keeps returning pages as well as posts. I have checked the box “exclude pages” but it’s not making any difference. Am I missing something?

You do it right, checking that option https://prnt.sc/JWrlRDQllhrF in the live results should exclude the pages – https://prnt.sc/uQWa8Zm4fDsV, but now you should also adjust the search template because once you click on the search button or view all results, you’ll be redirected to the search page. This should be edited with tagDiv Composer – https://prnt.sc/d63D83cEfzdY select the search input and in “Post Type” section set the post type you like in your search (for articles will be “post” https://prnt.sc/vyl9rrBbBrYa ) do the same for the loop element set the post type you want to return from search – https://prnt.sc/gxDseFt6kcMS
