Looking for old version (7.3) of Newspeper

I’m looking for old installation of Newspaper theme – version 7.3. I need to compare files that I have modified so I can make update to latest version of Newspaper with zero downtime.

How and were I can download it?

If you don’t keep backups of your files; a good practice to start for 2018 btw; you can email them at the email bottom of the page and request it. Not sure if they provide prior versions once superceded by new one, but worth asking.

Also good time to start doing proper backups!

what wordpress backup have with plugin installation backups? 🙂 I do not keep all software and all plugin installations, i do backup whats the most important. i can at any moment restore everything i need.

However i have a list of files i have modified (more then a year ago, and I have it in evernote), but I need to make sure that this are the only changes and i did not made any other changes to installations files. and if I did what was changed and does this needs to be changed in 8.5 version.

Next time i will put it into git and it should be fine. but honestly? I didn’t expect that I will stick with this theme for so long.

I keep all my install files on local HD and RAID backup, so I always have prior versions of plugins, themes, site backups, dbase, exports, etc.

learned my lesson on that with a server failure couple years back. Nightmare. 🙂
