That would be module 1, that uses the thumbnail you mention. That thumb size is created specially for it, by the theme https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-theme-thumbs/
The quality should be good, like in this page where the module can be seen https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/category/module-1-category/ It depends on the original image as well however.
I have checked a few images you used as featured on your website, for example https://sviluppo.calcioinpillole.it/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Garcia.jpg
The resulting thumb is this one https://sviluppo.calcioinpillole.it/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Garcia-300×160.jpg I see it is created correctly.
By default the theme will just create the thumbnails from the featured images, it won’t affect their quality. Image optimization plugins could affect it, or any optimization methods which are meant to lower the size by reducing the quality.
