Hi. I am new to Newspaper theme. When a user signs up for email list, I dont want them to leave the page. In the current settings, I copied the Mailchimp form code and when i enter a test email, it jumps to another page with a confirmation.
Is there a way to use the API key from Mailchimp into the default “newsletter plugin” via an API key so that the users dont get transferred to another tab with the confirmation? I dont want to use the API for any reason other than to keep the users on the same page.

Unfortunately the Newsletter option from Newspaper Theme only renders the API’s that are coming from external sources. Unfortunately the Newsletter plugin does not offer too much of a editing features.

So, Vlad, are you saying there is no way to have the user added to mail list WITHOUT the user being redirected to a Mailchimp confirmation page, asking them to enter additional fields?
