i think is stupid to size mai area to 700px.
best performance ads by google and other advertiser are 728 large..
why you blocked to 700? (@media 1200)
i’m spending a lot of time trying to resize main area to 728 but without results..
can you help me? it’s possible to reduce space between main area and sidebar.. how to?
it’s very important, i can pay you for th trick. please help
Not sure “stupid” would be the right word for how the theme is setup, IMHO.
Works great for us on our sites, especially for vertical iPad on Retina display which many many responsive themes get wrong, especially many Bootstrap 3 themes which lose the sidebar entirely on iPad/Retina.
That’s also typically why themes have demos on Themeforest so you can test their “stupid” layouts before you purchase 😉

@Christopher it would have been grate if the theme’s content area was 728px in width to fit a standard 728×60 banner 🙂
AH!
gotcha. That does make sense for those putting ads in the content area. I was under the impression that Google’s new “responsive” ads would resize on the fly to the actual size which might vary by viewport AND by device. Which would mean the breakpoints would be irrelevant. Sorry if I was a dope and super annoying there. I will be quiet now. 🙂
