The article images use to show with a shorter height but now all images show the complete size in articles.

Do you are referring to this image from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hXJ39V9YN? If yes, notice that’s the default style for that post template. If you do not like it, you should change the post template. If is not what you mean, provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
