Main Domain Page and Home Page Are Different..

I thought the main domain page and the home page were supposed to be the same page?
Why are they different and how can I make the home page the same as the main domain page without redirecting the main domain to the home page? I know that might be an easy fix to do it that way, but just in case anything should come unglued I would rather error on the side of safety..

No I am sorry you misunderstood, and I did not explain it right.. Sorry about that.. ok well I meant.. how can I make the main domain page and the “/home” page the same in the theme. I just want both of these pages to look exactly the same as each other. Not to change domain name or redirect them or anything like that. Right now each page is a different theme page I just want them to be the same.. How can I do this?

If you referring to this https://i.imgur.com/yX88Fql.png you need to change it to be the same from Settings -> General => https://i.imgur.com/8VEDclH.png -> https://i.imgur.com/UYT3lih.png
