Main menu with categories – not working properly

Hi all,

Let’s explain my issue and maybe someone can help me. In my main menu I have: home, category X, and category Y.

After, I configured these 2 categories within the theme panel (section: category), and if I will select an option from “CATEGORY TOP POSTS STYLE” and an option “ARTICLE DISPLAY VIEW”, while loading my categories from main menu, only the grid selecting from “CATEGORY TOP POSTS STYLE” are loaded without any article. Also, if I will disable the “CATEGORY TOP POSTS STYLE”, keeping selected an option from “ARTICLE DISPLAY VIEW”, this option will work and articles are showed-up.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

I don’t think I understand exactly what is the problem you are having. The category pages can be customized in the theme panel and should display accordingly

If you have a Top post grid this will display on top of the category page, and the rest of your articles will be displayed below the grid.
You need to have enough posts in the category to populate the top grid and the bottom loop displaying articles.
