I am using a custom font (a google font that isn’t available in the drop down for some reason so I downloaded two versions of it that both have this same problem). The font is bellefair.
When doing my desktop main nav menu, it alternates shades of my color/changes the color. I’ve tried multiple colors and two versions of the font.

I have tried varying the size and font-weight as well, to no avail. Any idea how to address this?

Hi,
Did you have added the font from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/agwvgiK03H? Clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
