Major WP Usability Bug – But you could fix it easyly=> WP Comments Submission

Hello Sirs,

I am a big fan of your theme! And the following is NOT a bug of your theme, but rather WordPress. But with such an absolutely great theme, please please fix this bug for wordpress. As it throws a very bad light also on your theme (I first thought this is an issue with the theme, but now discovered its WP Core logic):

If you submit a comment (for examle on the following page:)
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/strong-growth-and-engagement-across-our-community/
,with any of the form elements missing, you end up on a blank (!!!) page saying:
ERROR: please fill the required fields (name, email).

Uhh, this isnt even year 2000 webstandards but something around 1995. I still cant believe it. It even misses a back-link… As stated, this is not a problem of your theme, but of wordpress. But it also kills the great usability of your theme.

Yes there are JS Validation plugins like:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/comment-validation-reloaded/
But this Plugin Ads so much overhead and degrades performance by a lot of Hooks and unnecessary backend functionality ( I looked at the source)
Yes, i could code this on my own. But this problem applies to all users of Newspaper. So coding this on my own and merging this with new uprades of your theme becomes a huge waste of time.

So please, please incorporate a fix in your theme directly (maybe using http://jqueryvalidation.org/ or directly using Jquery). For you this is only 20 Lines of Code. But this would improve so much(!!) the usability, as comments are one of the most important(!!) features of WordPress. If the guys at wordpress do 1995 Website Usability, please fix it fort them.

Note: You can also use this for advertising/feature list, as you have seen, they even provide plugins for this. having this right away in Newspaper is another great usp/benefit of the theme.

sorry, i have to ask again. I decided to not go live without having some kind of Validation (a described). This is just a too bad user experience and the site relies heavily on Comments.

I know I from my former Jobs, Issue Trackers sometimes have very large backlogs… Can you roughly guess, when this feature could be implemented?

If I understand you right, this will be something with low priority thats coming sometime in >3-xxx Months?
