Two parts questions,
1) For “Clarity Magazine” demo, the individual post page does not show embedded video, even though the thumbnail exists. What can be edited to show embedded youtube video on the page?
2) For “VideoNews” demo, is it possible to have page without youtube video embedded? Such as a image posts, with top image at the position which previous shown video. If so, what need to be changed?

Issue #1:
VideoNews demo theme setting

The video is on the left side of the page, but if the post itself does not contain video, then that area would be left blank. I’d like to know how to have the left side embed thumbnail when the post does not contain video but photo posts.

On the homepage, the post preview is showing the video play icon which indicates the post contains video.

But when the post is open, there’s no video embed in the post. Just the thumbnail. How can I change the post page to have video embedded in the main section?

2)The video icon appears only if you set up the Video format. It’s simple!

Once a post uses the video format here – https://imgur.com/V3i8bTE
Then regardless of setting a featured video or featured image, the modules where the post appears will display a play icon.
So for example a post with video format and a featured image will show the play icon in modules

The purpose for the play icon is to let website visitors now that the post contains a video, that would be all.

I guess my question is still not answered. My goal is to display the video on the post, which it does not at the moment.
Is it possible to edit the post template of the demo theme, so when the viewer click on post, it will show the video in the post.

Seems I missed the second question somehow, sorry about that. So the problem is that the featured video does not appear in the post page.
