Is there a way to make Lightbox automatically enabled for all images that are inserted into posts?

I remember seeing a global setting at one point. But I don’t see the global setting you just described in version: 10.3.3 of the Newspaper theme.

Please clear your cache now and try again. That option should work on new posts, for the old ones you will have to do it manually.

I’ve tried clearing the cache before without any luck. I tried doing that on both Firefox and Chrome.
Within the Newspaper settings-> Post settings-> General post settings, I’ve tried disabling and then re-enabling the (General modal image) element, to see if that might “correct” the DB. No luck with that.
For Newspaper, I am now running 10.3.4. All plugins have been updated.
The DB must be getting updated properly because when I enable the (General modal image) element, it stays enabled when I load the page again.
Any ideas for me on how I can debug this issue?
