In Newspaper is there anyway to make the main menu vertical and in the left hand column like the example here:

Hello,
Unfortunately there is no option for a vertical menu in our theme. You will need custom work in order to achieve this if you really need it. At the moment we do not have any plans to implement such an option. If more people request a vertical menu we will most likely implement it in a future update.
