Hi,
I have my old site technethub.com which has a stretched layout and looks better and elegant. Only that it lacks the features which newspaper x provides. My new site is techpress.net. Can you please if i have to make my site exactly as my old site using newspaper x theme what should i do ? Please guide me, i know its possible but not sure how.
Hi,
Ye, it is possible, but you’ll have some work to do to make it the same.
First the layout is stretch 1400px -> https://i.imgur.com/j72DfUF.jpg then you need to use some flex blocks to achieve the layout for first 2 posts -> https://i.imgur.com/Eafi4OS.png after that you need to use the post loop element from tagDiv Composer, here is an example, in big steps the page layout -> https://i.imgur.com/o8RNcMP.png if you want you can take it from here -> https://pastebin.com/jxFxTwTA and past it in an empty page https://i.imgur.com/rjRqjQW.png
Hope this will help you!
How did you managed to get the divider lines between posts and sidebar. https://imgur.com/o8RNcMP
+ How to make the header exactly like my previous site. Can you please advise if its possible so that i can make some effort.
Hi,
Using tagDiv composer you can select the columns then in css tab you can set the border width-> https://i.imgur.com/w55qCVt.png in this way you can set the borders on elements, columns and rows.
As for the header, you can try the steps from another topic and adjust the header after your needs -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/home-page-layout-3/
Thank you for your understanding!
Thanks, Will have to move away from here and think of what should i need to do for my site in terms of design and support in the future. Can you please advise if i am eligible for refund as i am within 30 days of the refund policy ?
