I’m looking for options to make our website width wider. On large desktop screens, the default newsmag theme looks sometimes small.
Is there an option to change the width in CSS or something?

Long time user here; and simple answer is there is not. What we do is make the header and footer full width and leave the content in the middle as is. The only real solution for “full width” is to switch to the Newspaper theme.
Also, we’ve found over the past 7 years or more that folks with wide displays often setup their browser to be “half width” and right side of monitor used for MS Word, or email or whatever. So, turns into a non issue in most cases.

Hi Daily Nintendo, as simchris mentioned, there is no way way to change the Newsmag width dimension, and when this is done most of the time is only for the header and footer to have the background stretched, but not the content because the theme elements will no longer look the same. If you need a theme that can be set on full width or adjust after the width dimension you need you’ll need to move from Newsmag to Newspaper theme.

It is indeed not a huge problem, but a few of our visitors mentioned a lot of white so we wanted to see if we could do something about that.
