I very much like the Newspaper theme that I am using and begin to reach to moment to finally launch the site. However, I wonder how I can make a header – when the user is hovering over it – show its subcategories WHITHOUT taking the user to a new page (that then must be designed) if being clicked upon. I wish for it to work as on the page below, when the user clicks on those headers nothing happens. The user must click on a subcategory. In fact, a sub-sub-category. Thanks so much in advance!

You can create a menu with custom links, for example, items like this: https://app.screencast.com/tP6Mk6tbvLf1c
The subcategories should be added normally, or you can add a page ID that displays the other subcategory, as you will build in the tagdiv composer. Check out this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-menu/

Thank you for your reply, but it was not helpful. I want to achieve what I wrote in the first post and what can be seen by the provided link there, that you commented. I enclose a new link here that displays what is happening now and what I want to avoid: that a visitor who clicks one of many names of a menu, is taken to a new page. I don’t want that. As I wrote in the first post: I only want the content under that name, if clicked on or hovered over, to be displayed and THOSE will take the visitor to specific posts, if clicked on. When you create that menu, you can add custom links (not pages or categories), and in the URL field, you can add “#.” In this way, the page won’t be redirected to a new link.
