Making widgets visible on specific tags ?

Hi there,

I am looking to make the [tagdiv] adbox widget visible on articles with specific tags. Do you have a plugin without any compatibility issue to recommand ?

We didn’t tested any plugin with a similar functionality so I can’t make any recommendation in this regard. However this can be achieved by editing the theme file like here:
– to display the header ad only on posts which have certain tags add this condition in ads.php file like here: http://screencast.com/t/tAOgPIcYDvqY Here is the new file with the new code: http://pastebin.com/BThpU9QX

Thanks Andrei. Actually the “display widget by tag” function exists with jetPack. Does Newsmag theme have any knowned conflict with jetPack ?

Jetpack it’s a very complex plugin and we couldn’t test and implement support for all its features. At the moment we know about two issues of our theme with Jetpack plugin: the mobile theme and the photon module don’t work fine. About the others features and modules of Jetpack we don’t have negative reports yet and they should work fine with the theme.
