Mark New Posts Plugin not working with the Theme

Hi,

We are trying to use the Mark New Posts plugin to show users where new posts are on the homepage.
https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/mark-new-posts/

However for some reason this plugin is not working with the Newspaper Theme and instead shows this:

Is there any way to get this fixed?

Hi,

If you followed the plugin instructions and it is not working, that probably means that is is simply not compatible with the theme. The theme modules to be more exact. Or maybe you are not implementing it properly, or there are settings in the plugin that are causing this.
We have not tested this plugin with the theme, so I cannot say why it is not working. Not all plugins are compatible with themes. Maybe you can find a different plugin or way to achieve what you want.
