Hi,
I am using Events Manager to handle registration for my events. It creates a custom post type called “events” under which there are “event categories” particular to that post type. I would like to show my events in a mega menu on the home page of my site but in the menu builder the mega menu drop down only picks up standard post categories. Is there any way around this?

Unfortunately the theme and also the menu haven’t been designed to work using custom posts types. If you want to customize this to work with other post types also you would need custom work.
Unfortunately we cannot offer custom work as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.

I second this request. Mega Menu is such a nice feature and should be able to implement with custom post types through at least categories like standard post_types do.

I added your request to our update list and hopefully we will be able to implement more option to the mega-menu. I cannot promise anything though. The developers get to decide what gets done in the next update and what gets postponed.
