Is there a way to customize what the menu looks like?

is it possible to have a text only drop down menu? that could support 10 – 15 links?

Hi,

You can customize almost all the menu items regarding font properties and colors used. This can be done in the theme panel, theme fonts and theme colors

Simple drop down menus can be created, as well as mega-menus or page menus

You can even add icons in the menu, as mentioned in the guide.
If you want to create a simple menu like that, simply arrange the menu items like this
