Mega-Menu Option does not appear

Hey there,

I read the documentation on the mega menu and tried to set it up but adding an item to the menu doesn’t even leave me the chance to make it a Mega Menu item.

Hi,

You can use this guide to create different styles of mega menus – https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/ Please follow the steps as described in the tutorial and you should have no problems. Basically you should just use a root menu item and make it a mega menu – https://www.screencast.com/t/rlkK0uBF1gZM You can find related information with a search on the forum, like this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/creating-mega-menu/

Hi Simon,

thank you very much for getting back this quick.

I wouldn’t have created a thread if I haven’t read the documentation before. So I checked the documentation and I checked it out but that doesn’t help me.

The option that appears in your screenshot – Make this category a Mega Menu – doesn’t exist when putting an item into the Menu Root Section.

Hi,

Please try to disable all plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check again. This is the most likely cause, a plugin could be overriding the settings in the menu screen causing options to not be available, and has happened to some users before.

Hi Simion,

I just did that! The Speed Booster is preventing it from being shown! I disabled that plugin and now it works again!
