If you hover over Mega Items?
I want a menu I can manually add posts/pages to. I do not want it controlled by categories or by WordPress. I want to manually add the menu items and then be able to categories (like there are three items under Menu Customization in the example). And I want the tabs to spread out horizontally – not just one long drop down. Right now, the only option I see in NP theme is one long drop down list. Again, the current mega menu doesn’t work because it only works with categories and I don’t want my content ordered by date. I want it ordered logically – which as best as I can tell, I have to control manually.
Can Newspaper do this? Or does anyone know of a plugin that works with the theme that will do this?

Unfortunately we do not have a menu like that, indeed the mega menu can be made only from categories, if you want to have some specific posts, then you can make a category and set it on mega menu and remove it but you can use a header from tagDiv Cloud Library and build with tagDiv Composer a menu like that, set a row like this -> https://i.imgur.com/TJUWFWv.png add a menu -> https://i.imgur.com/Uvtt0y5.png select a menu -> https://i.imgur.com/bRHR55z.png (the icons on menu can be set as in our documentation from here ), also on mega menu -> https://i.imgur.com/thvBews.jpg also the elements can be order by name or id -> https://i.imgur.com/C84JS7Q.png results will be -> https://i.imgur.com/epxAo4S.png you can make some more adjust from the menu settings.
Unfortunately this is the only way you can use our mega menu, sorry!

Sorry I just don’t understand this all. Technically I don’t understand. But it’s also too hard to follow without punctuation and then the screenshots and text combined into one. I keep having to read something you wrote, then try and find the right screenshot then try and go back to the text and try to follow what you’re saying and then go to the next line and read the screenshot and then go back to the text to try and follow what you are saying and then whoops i missed something or am on the wrong screenshot and i have to start all over again with no punctuation and not having a clue what you are saying. Is there any way you can put it all together so it makes more sense? Can you make it more like a tutorial so I can actually follow it?

If you are referring to the vertical menu, unfortunately we do not have a tutorial for this, but I will try to provide some more details step by step.
