Megamenu, featured images and x button won’t work anymore. Something is broken. How can I repair it? Is it something broken in the newspaper files or in the database? How can I reset database Newspaper info, so if I want to cancel and reinstall this theme, WordPress doesn’t “remember” the setup? Thanks

Hi,
Such issues may not be caused by database problems. It could be caused by plugins. Please try as a first step to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and clear any installed cache. Check if this has any effect on the website functionality.
