Hi I have another question. WE have set up a megamenu on wp.bgmagazine.nl.
However, it now shows the alle categories twice, one time for the selected category with post and images and one time underneath that the unselected categories. So all categories showing twice. What did I do wrong here?

hmm it’s a bit hard to understand. If I read it correctly I should do the following:
I now have a main category with sub categories, all taken into menu
so on our website wp.bgmagazine.nl eg, ‘Arbo’ as a main category and ‘arbodienst’, ‘arbowet en regelgeving’ etc as sub categories. These sub categories have been set manually by me in the wp menu section by me in order to show.
If I want the mega menu to work I understand that I should delete/disable these manually entered sub category items in the menu section of wordpress and everything works fine?
If so, then I just have one additional question, how will this (if any) effect the url paths (in terms of seo (friendly) paths). Will the url paths still be there (but now feeded by the theme).

Yes, for good results for your mega menu, please try to remove those items which you have added them manually. These are not necessary because the mega menu adds them automatically.
As I said you above, these paths exists and these are automatically displayed and its will be considered by the Google(SEO) without problems.
