Hello,
I followed the documentation (https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-menu/) as well as instructions on a forum topic (https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mega-menu-with-grid-columns/) in order to get my mega menu to have columns. However, the result is a full width menu as opposed to the columns set in the page and each ‘column menu’ stacked on top of each other.
Please help, thanks in advance.
Hello drae,
Please ensure that you have followed correctly all the steps wich are presented in the above tutorial because for major our users this way to achieve a mega menu column was very useful. Also, if you need more assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so I inspect it closer and I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello Catalin,
Yes, I followed all of the steps correctly and still not working. URL: http://www.armchairallamericans.com/dev/
Hello drae,
I have checked your website and saw your problem with Custom Menu Page. Also, I notice that you have used child theme…please try to switch to the main theme, ensure that you have updated the Visual Composer, disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache, purge CDN file is you used and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins and check it again and see how it works. I suspect this problem as could be caused by your child theme…probably is not updated to the latest version and might cause some errors when the code is overwritten.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hi Catalin,
Thanks for your quick response on this, much appreciated.
Changing the theme from the child to the main theme seems to have done the trick, thank you.
However we would like to use a child theme so that if we make any customizations we don’t affect the main theme. How would we go about solving that issue?
Hello drae,
Please try to update and your child theme that comes bundled with the latest version of our theme when downloading our package from ThemeForest. To each theme update, the child theme it’s changing and could cause some errors.
