Membership plugin compatible with Newspaper

Hello,

I’ve installed Newspaper theme for a local newspaper. Now, I need to install and configure a tool (plugin?) that can control users and content, like membership plugins. The users not logged (not subscribed) can see a little bit of the Post, then They must to logged in to show the rest of the content.

Please, Are there some one can tell me the more compatible plugin to do this with Newspaper theme? Some experience?

We did not tested any similar plugins, so I cannot make a recommendation, but maybe other users from tagdiv community can help.
